Dow turns negative in morning trade as declines in Disney, UnitedHealth stocks weigh

The Dow Jones Industrial Average pivoted lower Monday monrng, after opening with modest gains, as shares of Walt Disney Co. DIS, -1.58% and UnitedHealth Group Inc. UNH, -1.86% pressured the blue-chip gauge lower. The Dow DJIA, -0.26% most recently was down by about 28 points, or 0.1%, at 25,075, with shares of UnitedHealth and Disney contributing about 30 points, or nearly all of the gauge's declines. Meanwhile, the other major indexes were trimming their earlier advance, with the S&P 500 index trading flat at 2,708 and the Nasdaq Composite Index COMP, -0.01% holding on to a gain of about 0.2% at 7,308. All three major U.S. stock benchmarks had opened with firmer gains on Monday.
